Isis the slim fast diet safe while breastfeeding?

Its not a good idea to diet while breastfeeding. The baby on its own will be taking in anywhere from an additional 500-1000 calories a day. If your intake is suboptimal, it could affect your infant nutrition, growth and developent. The first year of infant life is too important for brain development to have you diet while breast feeding.

A doctor. The type of medications you're on and the fact that you have a medical history of OCD means that it would be wise to consult your doctor, or PCP to decide which type of diet would be best. Slim fast is not a great alternative. You would do much better with something that allows you to lose weight steadily and easily depending on how many pounds you feel you need to lose. We don't have Your weight or height included.

Most likely you are having some hypoglycemia si you should try a small fruit like an apple or a small banana and that should resolve the problem , also make sure you hydrate well when you are on high protein diet.

Slim fast has horrible ingredients, and I would not feed it to my dog if I had one..From their website, they list Hydrogenated soybean oil, High Fructose Corn syrup,  etc. Soybean oil will make you fat, and so will high fructose corn syrup. I have lots more to say, but 400 words is not enough. Suffice to say, stay away from Slim Fast! Eat whole foods instead.

Gastritis is a term that refers to inflammation of the stomach lining due to any cause. Gastritis may come on suddenly (acute) or develop and persist over time (chronic). The common causes of Gastritis are H. Pylori and NSAIDS. Dehydration can worsen symptoms in gastritis. Each individual responds differently to various foods and drinks, including Slim-fast. Make sure you drink lots of water.

I see you have the component of OCD involved so you are likely to worry more than others. Foul smelling milk is usually spoiled, if it hasn't caused you stomach upset, that's fortunate. It would unlikely result in any serious harm. Smell the milk separately to figure out the source. When in doubt, you can replace the bottle you mix it in. Otherwise wash with good soap/water and smell the bottle.

Garcinia cambogia is in most weight loss supplements, and can cause liver failure.It was also used in Hydroxycut which was taken off the market as people died from using it.  I see a handful of patients per month with abnormal liver tests after using this medicine. I would NOT recommend it. There is no "magic pill" for weight loss. Diet and exercise remain the #1 way to lose weight and keep it off

Yes taking Metformin and drinking Slim Fast is fine. I know there are a variety of Slim Fast drinks out there and their nutritional facts vary, but in general they tend to be low in carbohydrates and sugar. Metformin tends to cause GI / stomach issues though so taking it with food might be better to avoid those unwanted side effects.
