Usually ok: In an emergency, you might have to put water directly from the faucet onto your eye.  If not an emergency, you can carefully wash your hands and then splash water that you catch in your hands onto your eyes.

i have a pricking sensation in my eye.. the sought you have wen a small stone goes into ones eye... i tried washing my eye but still it's prickly.

Abrasion?: The prickly sensation suggests that you ocular surface is not completely smooth.  Something could have gotten in your eye, or there may be a scratch. Your eyes may even be dry. If it persists, you should see your eye md.

Warm compresses: Requires many weeks, otherwise there is medicine you can take by mouth, Minocin (minocycline) or Doxycycline that also take time to resolve the style.

Not a problem: This should not pose any problem.  Continue to use your medications as directed.

someone i know recently got someone bleach in their eye. after washing it out constantly and periodically using eye drops, everything seems fine. will he be okay, or should he still seek medical attention? all his symptoms are gone.

Probably okay: The main risk I would expect would be a chemical burn of his cornea, or the clear surface of the eyeball. It is exquisitely sensitive &amp; if he has no pain, he likely didn't injure it. He should be fine if there are no symptoms.

i bought shorts and now i noticed spot on vaginal part of it. i washed it in washing machine and spot disappeared but i think i noticed an insect on it. could any living creature that can be seen by eye, survive washing machine?

Many things possible: However, modern washing machines are pretty relentless. So, the question is, is a young woman going to worry about the nearly impossible, or is she going to live her life fearlessly, try new things, and help save the world. If the latter, then no worries. If the former, well, maybe run it through the water again?

Possible: Rubbing your eye with bacterial contaminated fingers can transmit infection presuming bacteria from the vagina got on your fingers. If eye redness developed, get examined by your physician or ophthalmologist for evaluation and treatment.

Sounds like Dry eyes: Dry eyes are an often the culprit of many symptoms in the eye which can include burning, stinging, tearing, foreign body sensation, tiredness, heaviness, blurred vision and eye pain. You can have some or all of the symptoms or even none of the symptoms and have dry eye. I would suggest starting with using over-the-counter artificial tears and a warm compress on the eye to see if that helps!
