Someone i know recently got someone bleach in their eye. after washing it out constantly and periodically using eye drops, everything seems fine. will he be okay, or should he still seek medical attention? all his symptoms are gone.

Probably okay: The main risk I would expect would be a chemical burn of his cornea, or the clear surface of the eyeball. It is exquisitely sensitive & if he has no pain, he likely didn't injure it. He should be fine if there are no symptoms.
