Probably not: You may have light bleeding from the site of the biopsy.  However, this does not change the diagnosis which will be issued on the tissue removed.  Pressure will often control bleeding, although if it continues, you should go back to your physician.

i had a breast biopsy and was told that the calcium deposit were suspicious.  what does that mean?

You should: Discuss this with your physician.  He or she is likely awaiting the final pathology results from the biopsy.  On mammogram dense areas light up, calcium included.  My guess is that they saw these deposits on the mammogram, thus the biopsy.  Calcium does not always mean cancer thus the word "suspicous".  Good luck.

Normal.: It is usually just included in the gross description portion. The pathologist literally just describes what it looks like on the table.

Not worried: No.  There are lymphocytes everyplace. To this day, nobody knows why a few get together, seemingly forming an outpost in otherwise-normal tissue.

Needle or open biops: If needle they may mean they missed the area of interest and got normal tissue. If open the same thing
If needle then they may want to do open

Something on mammo: Your mammogram or clinical exam showed something that requires further investigation. The biopsy will obtain tissue for examination. Once the tissue is examined your physician will discuss the results with you. Be calm and patient. Thanks for trusting HealthTap!

What did the biopsy: show? if it showed fibrocystic disease, then lumpiness is part of that process. Please follow your doctor's advice for follow up care.

Yes: The biopsy report is excellent and there is no reason to worryi.

Follow your  doctor : It is heard to read ultrasound unless  you have had some  training . It is more likely that  doctor  is right . However you can seek a second opinion.
