It depends upon your: Dose and whether you have sleep apnea or any other disease that can cause decreased respiratory drive. You must be careful not to drive or operate machinery and all prescribing doctors must be aware all of the meds you are taking. If all of the above are carefully in place, then it may be possible to take them together. Both, of course, are potentially addicting. Best wishes.

Opioids and benzo: Data has shown that opioids with benzo's increases the risk of death 5 fold. New government regulations have resulted in restricted use of these products.  while this has resulted in less prescriptions the overdoes deaths are still rising - this implies that prescriptions were not the cause of overdose deaths.

i'm a huge dental phobic. was given 10mg valium but it didn't help. i heard xanax (alprazolam) or percocet works better. is this true? which is better. help!

Another option: Another option for dental phobia is acupuncture. Tiny auricular asp needles remain in the ear for 1 to 7 days.  You can hit two birds with one stone and receive protocols for both anxiety and dental analgesia.  It is very safe and you can  drive yourself home from the dentist after the procedure.

Other options for pain control should be explored and with the assistance of her physician,may start to wean off her medication one at a time. Surgeon: Speak with your surgeon..The percocet and valium should be quite sufficient in most cases.  I tend to recommend minimizing narcotic usage to under a week for this procedure. Make sure you follow the surgeon's post-op protocols.

WHY?: Why are you taking all of these medications?!

Also that is a lot of Adderall XR, and it's extended-release so you shouldn't have to space it an hour apart per pill

But to answer your question, no it's not ok.

Someday: Someday you will die. But 20 mg Valium (3 days ago) and 10 mg of percocet won't kill you.  Nevertheless, you would be wise to not hurry the day, and give up your drug use, perhaps with treatment.

Question is why.: The question is really why she would need those medications on a daily basis, and would there be a suitable, non-addictive option for what ails her.  That being said, the daily, regular use of those medications is not generally advised, and could contribute to respiratory depression.

Age?: Depending on the age and what conditions your mom has, I could give a better answer, however, that dosing and combo seems excessive. These are both commonly know to have withdrawal side effects so coming off /down should be under medical advise and gradual.
