YES: I guess at this time that is what controls your sister,s pain. Your concern is noted and should be discussed with her. Other options for pain control should be explored and with the assistance of her physician,may start to wean off her medication one at a time. She would need a lot of support, which I am sure she will definitely get from you.

Overmedication: with possible lethal side effects. Call prescribing physician and get weaned off Valium and Percocet.
