Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine, if you are under 27 years of age.

: It sounds like you may be right that it is Shingles. You could be evaluated and may be placed on medication to reduce the duration of the pain and also consider getting the shingles vaccine.

day 5 of being sick ive had a runny nose congestion sneezing a slight cough 1day ran a low grade fever ive had some body aches. upper back pain leg pain started to loose my smell. friday i was - for c-19 yesterday +. it been covid the entire time?

: You're 5 days into a covid infection. Have you been vaccinated &amp; boostered? No worrisome chest symptoms or further fever by now is a good sign. Drink lots of fluids. Isolate until you're absolutely free of symptoms for 48 hours although smell may take a while to return. Check with your physician as needed.

Somatic dysfunction of upper and middle ribs cause by coughing or sneezing.  Muscle pull.  Chronic pull of breast tissue with inadequate support.  Heavy book bags/purses.  Sleeping wrong........

Tendinosis: Pain in this area is common, many times this is only on one side but can be on both. Palpation can localize the pain, many times to the iliocostalis tendons at their attachments on the ribs. These respond well to prolotherapy.

Muscle spasms: Most likely your back and shoulder muscles are in spasm from the forceful coughing.  If the cough worsens and you have fever or shortness of breath you should see your doctor to make sure the pain is not due to pleurisy or pneumonia.
