Sore upper back on the inner parts of my shoulder blades. why is that?

Tendinosis: Pain in this area is common, many times this is only on one side but can be on both. Palpation can localize the pain, many times to the iliocostalis tendons at their attachments on the ribs. These respond well to prolotherapy.
