do lentils really loose their protein content when they are boiled.as google tells protein content of raw green gram to be 24g but 7 gram protein content for boiled green gram.is it correct or is it a typing mistake?

: My hunch is that they swell with water when boiled and weigh more. Thus per gram protein will appear to be down but is not.  I would go to Cronometer app for more info.

Many foods: Meat has the most protein, but peanut butter also contains protein. The more lean the meat, the more proteint and less fat in the food.  Protein is made from Amino Acids as opposed to sugars or fats.

Beans, nuts, seeds: 1 cup of tofu has 20 grams protein, 10 grams of fat & 4 grams of carbohydrates.
All beans, lentils and chickpeas are good sources of protein, as are nuts & seeds. Hemp seeds contain as much protein as any food and it is a "complete" protein. Quinoa is the highest protein grain. i am having a colonoscopy/endoscopy. can i consume any type of protein shake/powder or solid food on mon., my papers just say to avoid food after 4pm?

No only liquid: You are supposed to be on liquid diet for two days prior while getting the prep to clean your colon and flush it from everything so it will be super clean during colonoscopy only water and juices and jello not even milk allowed . No milk shake or smoothies no solid food , you are getting very poor instructions and bad preparation for an important test any doubt call your doctor

Anything.: You can eat anything when you have internal hemorrhoids as long as you avoid constipation and don't strain. Easiest way to take a tablespoon of Metamucil dissolve in 12 glass of water and follow with one glass of water.

Whey Protein: Whey protein powder is freely available for athletes.  Lean protein such as chicken, turkey, and fish are all good sources of protein.  Eggs in particular are good - especially egg whites.  
If you are vegetarian, most green vegetables, and beans, grains etc contain all the essential amino acids, and are actually more bioavailable than Amino Acids from animal proteins.
