Temporary cement: A temporary crown can come off from chewing sticky food or flossing around a temp crown.You can put it back on using a temporary cement found at most stores.First practice putting it back on tooth to make sure you know the correct way it goes on.Dry the tooth.Place small amount of the temp cement in crown. (it's  better to use too little than too much.).Bite down gently on it while cement sets.

Have a dentist: Re-cement it as soon as possible. Some dentists recommend you use fixodent or a store bought cement to cement it back in your mouth. I generally don't advocate that as many patients either create more problems for themselves or the temporary cracks or is swallowed. You can always see any dentist for the emergency and then see your own dentist to complete treatment.

Many things: I am guessing that there was a drop in the vision for a short period of time, less than several hours and then restoration to normal. This is age and health dependent but could include vascular insults, embolic events, optic nerve dysfunction, hypotension and a variety of other things.  If this has happened only once, you can wait it out but if it happens repeatedly, then see your ophthalmologist.

Get it fixed: Go to the dentist that prepared the tooth for a crown and get the temporary repaired and/or replaced.  Leaving it off may cause shifting in the teeth which would prevent the new crown from fitting correctly.  Also, if the tooth is still alive ( hasn't had root canal therapy) it may be very sensitive to hot and cold food and drink.

Denture adhesive: As a very temporary measure, you could put in the temporary crown with a product such as fixodent.  This will hold you over for a day or two until you can see your dentist to have it recemented.
It is highly recommended to see your dentist asap, otherwise the new crown may not fit properly, you may get decay, or break the tooth.

Not really..: If the tooth is vital, it is perfectly normal for the tooth to be sensitive when it is manipulated. Discuss your concerns with your dentist.
