What exactly is transient leukopenia?

Transient, temporary: Leukopenia is low white blood cell count ( checked on a simple CBC, blood count test) This is common with viral illnesses such as the flu. viral condition goes away and so does the leukopenia. following chemotherapy , white cell count drops and recovers ( transient)
