Get it fixed: Go to the dentist that prepared the tooth for a crown and get the temporary repaired and/or replaced. Leaving it off may cause shifting in the teeth which would prevent the new crown from fitting correctly. Also, if the tooth is still alive ( hasn't had root canal therapy) it may be very sensitive to hot and cold food and drink.

Call your...: Dentist and see if you can get in as soon as possible. If the temporary crown is intact you can try placing it back on using a temporary cement from local drug store or even fixodent. If unsure see your dentist.

Call your Dentist: Chances are if you try to recent it with OTC product it will just come off again. Call your Dentist. He/she can evaluate the integrity of the temporary restoration and repair or replace as required.
