Yes, but...: Many aspects of tooth development and formation are genetic and you can't change that.  But you can control how you care for your teeth and this will determine how healthy they will be for your entire life.  Excellent oral hygiene, brushing and inter proximal cleaning, and a healthy diet  are essential to keeping your teeth healthy.

what happens when allograph tissue material is placed between my gums and teeth roots and it does not work due to the thinness of my gums?

Accepted Answer

Alt treat may work.: If donor allograft material was placed to enhance or help  provide a protective layer of gums over your exposed root surfaces, and the graft does not take, you may want to consider a graft of your own (hard gum) attached gingiva.  While more invasive, a small strip from the roof of your mouth, or a sliver slid over from a nearby healthy area, may have a better chance of success.

Brush your teeth: Don't stop brushing your teeth.  This will lead to many serious problems.
Thinning of tooth enamel is caused by several things that you can control. First use a soft toothbrush with a non abrasive toothpaste, or none at all. Limit the acids in your diet. This means sodas, even diet soda, bottled teas,  energy drinks and juice drinks. Decrease sugary snacks and foods. Have regular dental care.

can xanax (alprazolam) erode teeth? can xanax (alprazolam) also cause teeth enamel to flake off and become thin?

Xanax (alprazolam): Don't see enamel damage listed as se for xanax (alprazolam). However, it can cause dry mouth & vomiting. Vomiting can directly damage your enamel.  Dry mouth from decreased saliva can lead to ^ tooth decay. Please see your dentist if your enamel is in poor shape. Another option & possibly a better one is to talk to your doctor about going off xanax (alprazolam). Chronic benzodiazapine use is not recommended.

Possibly: Bonding and labial veneers are a treatment that might help you, but only a qualified dentist could tell you for sure.

in my bottom teeth my incisor got no enamel on it and looks thin. what will happen if i lose a layer of dentin. can't have crown i've got swollen gum?

2 separate problems: 1. Gum disease. This is a serious problem, which should be checked and treated by a dentist. 2. When enamel damaged, the tooth is more susceptible to cavities.There are variety of options to fix lost enamel to protect dentine: for small erosion bonding is used. If the enamel loss is significant, full crown maybe a solution. See your dentist ASAP.

can sealants be put on front teeth? the enamel on all my teeth is very thin, so im wondering if dental sealants on all of them, not just the back ones would be helpful?

Dental : Dental sealants are designed to fill in the pits and fissures on the biting surfaces of the posterior teeth. They are not made to be used on the smooth surfaces of the front teeth.

enamel of my upper incisors are rough to touch and thin but they are white (clean) and have no spots or tartar does it means i have enamel hypoplasia and do i need treatment or regular care will be fine? are those teeth more vulnerable to decay?

: Regular dental care is very important to long term overall health. You should see a dentist at least once a year. They can also answer any dental questions you have about your specific situation after looking at your teeth. Doctors typically do not examine teeth in the detail that dentists do.
