Yes, but...: Many aspects of tooth development and formation are genetic and you can't change that. But you can control how you care for your teeth and this will determine how healthy they will be for your entire life. Excellent oral hygiene, brushing and inter proximal cleaning, and a healthy diet are essential to keeping your teeth healthy.

Thin enamel: Our bodies are made according to our dna code. Everybody is a little different, but there are average thicknesses of enamel. It may be more mineraiized and harder, you may have a stronger immune system to fight decay. There are ways to help you if constant decay is a problem. Find a denist sho helps with a solution, not just fix another cavity.

Yes.: Enamel is affected by different things that happen to you while the tooth is developing. Genetics also plays a part. If you have thin enamel, it cannot be reversed, but you can strengthen it's resistance to cavities with Fluoride treatments at your dental office and keeping the teeth clean by brushing and flossing properly and regularly.

You can't reverse it: Enamel thickness is genetic. Some have a lot and others have a little enamel.
