Some ideas: Fatty liver: balanced and healthy diet and increase your physical activity. In addition to limiting calories, avoid  refined, rapidly digested carbohydrates, foods such as bread, grits, rice, potatoes, corn, and concentrated sugar that is found in sports drinks, juice.Reflux:avoid coffee, tea ( regular and decaffeinated) caffeine, carbonation, alcohol, citrus, chocolate, mint , fat, spice, onions, garlic.

got checked with gi. told me have dypepsia with fatty liver (as shown in songraphy test). i am non-smoker and non-drinker. have acid reflux. pl. help.

Fatty liver: Non alcoholic fatty liver (NAFLD - pathologically known as non alcoholic steatohepatitis - NASH) is common and varies rather dramatically in presentation and progression.  Not sure what you might need help with.  Should discuss your particular case with GI as to specific recommendations -  such as lower fat diet, taking meds, etc.

a couple days ago inthiughtbjnwas having acid reflux. now i think i am feeling full faster, with like heaviness at the very top of my abdomen, but i was worried it would happen before i ate. how do i know if my symptom is real or in my head?

: GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) does not make you feel early fullness with meal or heaviness in the epigastric area. Those symptoms are more common with acute gastritis (caused by food poisoning, viral or bacterial infection). Symptoms of acute gastritis are usually self limited, quick relief with antacid. GERD sx are usually precipitated by flat supine position right after a full meal.

if you are experiencing 8/10 acid reflux type pain in lower abdomen and loose stools that improve stomach pain. symptoms have improved over the past 6 hours is this something urgent or should i monitor to see if symptoms get worse again?

Watch and wait: If you are getting better, you may watch and wait. Drink enough water, fruit juice, electrolyte drinks so that your urine is mostly colorless. If you get fever or there is any bleeding in vomit or stool, go get checked.

Acid reflux: Avoid fried food, and greasy food, meaning no fast food or junk food. Avoid carbonated drinks, caffeinated products, acidic foods such as juices and tomato sauce based foods. Eat grilled or baked food, lots of vegetables and fruits. Plenty water. No smoking either.

the dr said it was acute gastritis causing acid reflux with inflamed liver. how can gastritis inflame the liver? dr said that was what happened.

Hard to say: Gastritis does not usually inflame the liver, but it is possible you have liver enzyme abnormalities and may need to be evaluated for hepatitis or gallbladder problems.  You may also have gastroesophageal reflux disease (gerd) with or without gastritis.  I suggest that you talk with your doctor again to clarify things since they know the whole story.

dexilant (dexlansoprazole) reflux, ulcer and now mild fatty liver.  still having discomfort and pain had endoscopy what to do now?

Follow up…: ...with your gastroenterologist. If your pain was truly due to acid reflux or the ulcer, it would be likely that the Dexilsnt would have controlled the symptoms. It is possible that another cause of the pain is contributing, and further testing may be necessary. Good luck.

nausea off and on.a sip or two of alcohol brings the nausea on too. my dr thinks i may have bile reflux. could my fatty liver cause this problem?

Fatty liver: Yes your fatty liver may be related to bile re flux but your doctor should be discussing this with you.
With your symptoms it is very unwise to have a "sip or two of alcohol". That could cause many problems.

is acid reflux(gerd) associated with liver issues? i was recently diagnosed with nafld and it seems like my gerd has been worse too. my alt/ast was elevated, and now im having bad acid reflux. what is my best course of getting better ?

Two issues. : Acid reflux disorders are one problem, generally described as GERD. An increase in ALT/AST is a separate issue. The level of these elevations is key. If it is mild elevation, could be fatty infiltration of liver, for example. Obesity and/or diabetes can underlie both issues going on. A gastroenterologist can get at the bottom of the issues.

May not be related: Some develop intractable bile gastritis with  or with out gb  , bile instead of going down takes wrong way and stays in stomach. You need work up, antacids , h2 blockers, protan inhibitors may help you, in some cases may need roux 'n" y type of surgery, speak to your dr may do wok up , find and solve your problem.
