Regular: To lose weight, you must exercise regularly. Start a weight training program. Also a good way to lose weight is running and becoming more physically active. Also have a healthier diet. Avoid all sodas and only drink water. Avoid fatty snacks with sugars and instead have fruits and veggies as snacks.

certainly when there seems to be progressive SERIOUS nerve damage, surgery would generally be recommended. Loss of strength is not one of the early signs (loss of dexterity/dropping things is an early sign).
