could i hav marfans? recently got diagnosed w/ mild mvp. postive marfans wrist test but not thumb test. female, not tall (5 ft 2), arm span not longer than height, skinny, long fingers,  score 3 in ghent criteria. no protuding chests nor myopic. help

Wouldn't think so: If I remember correctly as many as 10% of the female population can show a mild degree of mitral valve prolapse by their teen years and beyond. That makes it relatively common where Marfan's is rare. Your observations make it unlikely you could fit the diagnosis. Discuss it with your doc the next time you go in.

Age ?/puberty ?: The arm span grows faster in most males than height starting at puberty &amp; continuing until maturity. The tallest kids (during puberty &amp; as adults) will have a longer wingspan than height. The short kids/adults will have an arm span will not exceed their height.

Fracture healing: The answer depends on what kind of fracture, whether you had an operation to repair it, and what kind of a cast you are in. Pain and numbness in the arm at 9 weeks does suggest a problem that should be evaluated by your  orthopedist.

Disk herniation : This is a recurring problem for you it may not be a bad idea to see your family physician for an a valuation and possibility of utilizing anti-inflammatory medications and exercise to see if this helps at least initially if this does not improve the arm symptoms consideration for oral steroid medications may be an option. Too long: This is taking wAy to long for a wax burn. Did you get ant treatment. ?  You better try silvadene (silver sulfadiazine) or antibiotic ointment. Or see your doctor

You can't make your: Fingers grow longer. It requires weight loss to have thinner arms. Here are some toning exercises for your arms. Tone arms w standing biceps curl w dumbbells, hammer curls w dumbbells, triceps kickback w dumbbells ; lying triceps extension w dumbbells.

Varies: There are a number of possible causes, I would not hesitate to be seen.  One of the more common causes is known as lateral epicondylitis which can cause lateral elbow pain but also pain in the wrist and forearm.  There are many good treatment options available.
