A member asked:

Male wingspan 5'9.5"; height 5'7". is it unusual for males to have longer arms than height?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Age ?/puberty ?: The arm span grows faster in most males than height starting at puberty & continuing until maturity. The tallest kids (during puberty & as adults) will have a longer wingspan than height. The short kids/adults will have an arm span will not exceed their height.
