Not really: The supplements are adjunctive therapy to having the tendon repaired. So for example, they might help reduce inflammation after the tendon was repaired or help with wound healing but won't actually help the tendons repair themselves. Please consult a doctor.

No: You cannot strengthen ligaments. If you are " loose jointed" it's usually inherited. You can strengthen the tendons about your hand( extensor and flexor) most easily by squeezing a ' grip' ball or  a grip- strengthening device.

Alpha Lipoic Acid : Alpha lipoic acid helps with nerve healing and regeneration.  There is a large body of scientific literature about its benefits for diabetic neuropathy.  The r-lipoic form is the best.  You can find it online under the name ralapure.  Start by taking 2 capsules 3 times a day.  I have seen it help patients with nerve problems.  I have no financial connection to the company, just think it's good.

Vitamin d3 2,000 IU: The single best supplement to address these concerns in addition to a balanced diet would be vitamin d3 2, 000 iu daily.  Strong bones are needed to be able to build stong muscles and tendons.  Vitamin d is frequently lacking.  Calcium is usually sufficient in most individuals diet.  Vitamin d deficiency is also linked with depression and loss of cognition.

Depends: It depends on the type of injury.  Achilles injuries are very susceptible to not want to heal if progressed sooner than necessary.  A strain may take up to 6 weeks to heal, whereas a tear may require surgery and up to 6 months with physical therapy.  An exam with possible MRI may be needed if you already have not had one yet.
