Very unlikely.: The sinus is at much greater risk of infection with an untreated abcess of #14 (the upper left first molar) since the infection is usually just outside the sinus. As the infection grows, it can eat through the sinus floor of bone and infect the sinus.

Speak with dentist: Speak with your dentist prior to the procedure.  The dentist may be able to prescribe medication to alleviate your fears and make this a seamless experience.  In addition, if needed, nitrous oxide can be used.  Be sure to bring a driver.  Permanent nerve damage from an anterior infiltration would be rare and the benefit outlay the risk.  You will be fine.

Clenching: Try to reduce the stresses in your life. Exercise, hobbies, deep breathing, a walk outside, reading, etc. Healthy life style, enough sleep and proper nutrition. In addition-see your dentist for a thorough dental examination and evaluation of your bite, wear facets and TMJoints.  Often a properly designed night guard can be very helpful to reduce the harmful effects of bruxism.
