Not an illness: If there is the appearance of blood at the eye, most likely it is a "sub conjunctival hemorrhage" which is not necessarily a sign of any disease.  This can occur spontaneously, upon rupture of one of the very small arteries lining the surface of the eyeball.

Please see your: doctor or an eye doctor. Although usually scratches of the cornea or infections of the eye are painful, it is not worth taking a chance with your eyes/vision.

Go to the Doctor: You already can tell you have pink eye. It is now time for the doctor to diagnose it so it can be treated.

Depends on Cause: In general, you can start with artificial tears eye drops and/or over-the-counter allergy eye drops if there is itchiness.  Also, be sure you are not rubbing the eyes.  If there is discharge or any change in vision or other symptoms, it would be best to see your eye doctor.

i have sarcoidosis now have lumps/swelling inside my eyelids/tissue surrounding what are symptoms of sarcoidosis of  the eyes?  going to see eye dr.

Diminished vision: Sarcoidosis is a slow inflammatory condition that features growths called granulomata. These can appear on lacrimal glands and create dry eyes. These can appear inside the eye orbit or on the optic nerve. These can cause nerve irritations and cause a paralysis of eye movements. If on the optic nerve, loss of vision may result.  Floaters can result from inflammatory cells.

Normal vs. abnormal: It is not exactly normal to fall, hit one's head, or bruise one's peri-orbital area. However, after falling and hitting one's eyebrow, it often happens that the blood from the bruise spreads downward around the eye, due to gravity, so that within a day there will be bruising on the bottom of the eye area too. It should all self-resolve, but the eyebrow impact point may have a bit of scarring.

i bumped my head last night on a cabinet. slight bruise, slightly swelling, a headache and eye ache. i still feel symptoms. how should i treat this?

Head injury : You should rest and avoid anything that causes increased symptoms. With your history of frequent head injury I would recommend you get examined if symptoms persist for more than a few days

im suspected ms due to physical symptoms and lesions found on my brain. my dr found inflammation behind my eye i have no symptoms of optic neuritis. could this inflammation be ms itself causing swelling or is optic neuritis possible with no symptoms?

: There is a correlation of the occurrence of optic neuritis and MS.  See an ophthalmology physician and consult a neurologist for guidance on MS.

what are the symptoms of inflammation of the tear duct? i have swelling on the upper left inner corner eyelid which is not going away, its not a lot but noticeable.not a stye, its not painful or tender to touch.no tearing,eye feels sore/burning/tired?

: I could be any of a number of things, without an exam it cannot be diagnosed.  I suggest you see an ophthalmologist
