A member asked:

Im suspected ms due to physical symptoms and lesions found on my brain. my dr found inflammation behind my eye i have no symptoms of optic neuritis. could this inflammation be ms itself causing swelling or is optic neuritis possible with no symptoms?

There is a correlation of the occurrence of optic neuritis and MS. See an ophthalmology physician and consult a neurologist for guidance on MS.

The confirmed diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis is often challenging, even for neurologists, and this may require consultation from a dedicated MS subspecialty neurologist, or a neuro-ophthalmologist. Comprehensive blood studies and lumbar puncture may be necessitated. Get expertise ASAP. This is very complex and requires full intervention.
