No: Vertigo is the name of a feeling that you are moving when in actuality you are not.  Technically speaking vertigo is just a symptom and not a disease.  What you are really asking is "can stress cause any diseases which cause vertigo?"  The answer is still no.  Most causes of true vertigo come from the ear.  The other small percentage come from the central nervous system and would be more worrisome

Yes it can: Yes, stress can bring on vertigo.  But, you need to work with your family physician also to make sure nothing else is going on.  With "stress" it's not just the events but it's how we're responding to them that's important.  There is help for stress responses that are limiting or overwhelming to you.  At any age, meditation and other mind-body practices can be extremely useful.

bp is usually 120/60. been under a lot of stress lately, bp is now 165/95 with intermittent vertigo. do i need to be worried?

Well,...: It is now higher, most likely due to your stress as described, but either way the BP elevations need to be treated, either by medications for the High BP or by treating your underlying anxiety causing it. best wishes.

Not likely: Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo will not be affected by the pressure changes induced by flying.  What induces bppv is any rapid change in posture and position.

The treatment for bppv is the canal repositioning maneuver.  Your ENT or neurologist can perform this maneuver for you.  Good luck and well wishes.

i have been experiencing vertigo. my tests show vitamin b12 and d deficiency and high prolactin levels. i am very stressed out. kindly suggest?

See your doctor: This requires medical attention to correct these levels, and can best be done with your doctor. Do not stress out. Seek the expert. Let your doctor lead the way back to health.

morning vertigo and groggy. i have hashimotos, asthma and lots of recent stress. can poorly managed hashimotos cause sleep issues? tsh 6.5 right now

No: A TSH of 6.5 is borderline but is not associated with any symptoms such as sleep issues.  your doctor might adjust your dose to lower to TSH to &lt;4 but it won't help you sleep better

i have episodes where i'll be sitting and or walking and all of a sudden i'll feel extremely dizzy. i've had blood test taken and i've been to an ent but nothing comes up. i was told that previously it was vertigo and caused by stress?

Keep working with Dr: A person who has symptoms that come and go can help her doctor by writing down the symptoms on a calendar diary, including when they happen, how long they last, what makes them worse, what makes them better, any medications or illegal drugs used, etc...  Several visits to one's primary care doctor may be needed to sort out the symptoms. One should be sure to exercise to keep the body resilient.

Eye twitching: The eye twitching is likely due to stress - this is a fairly common phenomenon and not something to worry about. Make sure to get plenty of rest and try to stay relaxed!
Your vertigo may or may not be related to stress.

i have a vertigo. it's triggered if i have a migraine, cold, or stress. sometimes my ears ring. i also have neck pain, athritis rhematoid. advise?

Migraine: Migraine is a common cause of vertigo.  Vertigo is a sensation of movement when you are not moving.  Not all dizziness is vertigo, and many people use it incorrectly.  I recommend seeing an ENT, getting an audiogram and reviewing it all to see if it makes sense that it is migraine causing your symptoms. Need to rule out Meniere's disease, BPPV, others.

See ENT: I think you need to see an ENT and suspect that your problem may be from a sinus infection.  If the nose has been stuffy for more than 6 months, consider seeing an allergist as well.
