Bp is usually 120/60. been under a lot of stress lately, bp is now 165/95 with intermittent vertigo. do i need to be worried?

Well,...: It is now higher, most likely due to your stress as described, but either way the BP elevations need to be treated, either by medications for the High BP or by treating your underlying anxiety causing it. best wishes.

See PCP: I think it is important to obtain blood pressure measurements over longer periods of time to get a sense of the problem here. We cannot diagnose hypertension from one isolated reading; it is a thoughful diagnosis that requires montioring. You should see a PCP!
