Fast food hurts gut: Fast food is notorious for being low in fiber & generally high in calories from concentrated sweets & fat.  Fats delay stomach emptying & promote reflux.  Dietary fats also promote release of cck & substance y which alters gut sensitivity, contracts the gallbladder, & prompts the "ileal brake" which in predisposed patients causes bloating & fullness. Choose instead salads, fruits, & whole grains.

Fiber : Oatmeal contains plenty of soluble fiber which causes gas, and can rather quickly. Fiber is very important to have in your diet since it can help you lose weight, lower cholesterol and keep your intestines moving! If oatmeal gives you gas I suggest trying other sources of fiber, especially insoluble fiber rich foods such as wheat bran.

i am experiencing sharp pain in my stomach area after eating pasta really fast due to a time limit. will i be able to digest fully even though i did not chew thoroughly and is there permanant damage to my stomach ?

Rapid eating: It would be very doubtful that rapidly ingesting pasta would cause permanent damage to your GI tract.  The food is likely to be digested. However, we don't always pass fully digested food.  Recommend eating slowly and chewing well in the future.  Sometimes when eating rapidly - we don't have time to feel satieted and may end up gorging. This can cause distention &amp; discomfort. Take care.

See a psychologist: You should get evaluated. Schedule an appointment with a psychologist for an evaluation. Therapy and/or medication will help if in fact you are anxious. Make sure you talk about your symptoms and not a diagnostic label. You have listed physiological symptoms of panic/anxiety.  The fear of cancer is an intrusive thought.  Seek help, take care.

Needs a gastroentero: Your wife clearly needs a full evaluation. While waiting for the doctor's appointment try: enzymes and chromium before each meal and probiotics twice a day, at least 16 billion acidophillus.
Avoid cheese and milk.

GERD?: Sounds like fairly classic gastroesophageal reflux disease.  May be related to specific foods.  Talk to your pcp about it.

: A "sloshing sound" after consuming liquids and solids is normal, and will be more pronounced (audible) when running, etc.. Wait a bit before active movement to allow for stomach contents to pass into the lower intestine, and the sound will disappear.

i have been having constant urges to eat even after eating, my stomach is also very discomforted which renders me to comfort eating. heart beats very fast time to time and i feel light headed. also heartburn recently , what could it be?

Possible : hypoglycemia ( l0w blood sugar) especially if relieved with the ingestion of food Get your blood tested for low blood sugar and anemia

Depends...: 1-2 hours after liquids, 3-6 hours after solids. Carbohydrates & proteins exit faster than fats. Large meals take longer to empty than small meals. Medications, diabetes, neuropathies, certain infections can alter stomach emptying significantly, as can mechanical delays in emptying like stenosis & scarring of the pylorus (the gastric outlet into duodenum), gallbladder disease, small bowel issues.
