Yes: Some people can get muscle aching from flu shots, but they should only last a few days.  If lasting longer, so bad you cannot put your chin on chest, or with high fever you should see a doctor right away

got flu shot a week ago. every day i've had a headache along with stiff neck. my arm is also bruised and super sore. ?

Flu shot: You should be seen by a doctor and assessed to be sure that you have not developed secondary infection at the vaccination site. It is not unusual to develop a day or two of mild symptoms of achiness, possibly headache. A week is too long and the arm should not be "super sore". Good luck.

Lump: Depending on the size and firmness it also could be a lipoma or cyst. I would monitor the lump, if it is increasing in size, firm, and immobile I would recommend followup. Lymph nodes less than 1 cm are generally benign but if persistent or increasing, it would be reasonable consider biopsy. A flu shot does stimulate an immune response so some inflammation to a lymph node is possible.

Possibly 7-10 days: It may be but should start resolving within 3-4 days and resolved by 7-10 days if it persists longer it could be something else that warrants evaluation.

Tension?: Were you tense about getting the shot? If you were, it was possible that you tensed up your back and neck muscle so much that you got the pain and headache. If you were not worried about shots at all, then I don't have an explanation for it. I have not heard that the flu shot, or any other shot causes that reaction immediately after it is given.

No it is not: Flu shots do not causec swollen muscles in neck or any other part of your body.

Idiosyncratic Rx: Neomycin, Egg Allergy 
Most reactions of Fever, swelling at the injection site, Hives , Shortness of breath and wheezing!
 Worsening pain is idiosyncratic! Rare and only occurs to certain individuals!

Timing: Which came first? Flu shot or neck pain? You describe very nicely neck muscle spasm which occurs in many different circumstances. Unless your flu shot was injected in your neck, a connection is unlikely. Neck sprain is by far the commonest source of those symptoms, but certainly not the only possibility. Flu symptoms are usually more diffuse, rather than on one side of the neck.

i have 2 nodes in my neck that never went completely down.after flu shot.very small. ent says they are fine.but why does this happen?makes me nervous.

Enlarged lymph nodes: Lymph node enlargement around the neck is very common and often of no concern. If the nodes enlarge are large then it can be of concern.  Since you went to the ENT, a specialist of the neck, and  got an opinion and are  still concerned I wonder if you have anxiety
