Immediately after i got my flu shot, my trapezius hurt & the pain went up my neck and i got a headache. why? thank you.

Tension?: Were you tense about getting the shot? If you were, it was possible that you tensed up your back and neck muscle so much that you got the pain and headache. If you were not worried about shots at all, then I don't have an explanation for it. I have not heard that the flu shot, or any other shot causes that reaction immediately after it is given. Perhaps others have the answer
