No it is not: Flu shots do not causec swollen muscles in neck or any other part of your body.

Yes: All vaccinations stimulate the immune system (white blood cells) to produce antibodies. Some vaccinations stimulate stronger responses than others. Many of those white blood cells reside in lymph nodes which may become enlarged and a bit tender for a short time after a vaccine.
