See a podiatrist...: If it truly is scar tissue, you may be given a prescription for topical verapamil cream to reduce the fibrosis.  If it is something else, the doctor will be able to determine that as well.  There may be a local nerve entrapment causing this type of pain.

About forefoot pain: Metatarsal pain may be like turf toe, which is an sprain at the joint between the big toe and the forefoot. Cold packs can help. Tylenol (acetaminophen) or Motrin (ibuprofen) for 3 days, no weight-bearing for 3 days, wearing a non-flexible shoe, avoiding sports for a few days, etc..., all lessen the pain. If not better soon, one can see an orthopedic or podiatry doctor for an evaluation.

FASCIITIS: Yes, heel pain can cause leg pain. The most common diagnosis, among many, is inflammation to a structure attached to the heel; the plantar fascia. Inflammation is called plantar fasciitis. There are many ways to treat this. See a podiatrist for further evaluation.

Neuropathy: Even though Charcot's arthropathy is usually associated with a loss of sensation in the foot and ankle, a painful neuropathy can coexist with the loss of sensation. The nerve damage (neuropathy) may be starting higher up than the foot. Start with your primary care physician or your endocrinologist if you have diabetes. The painful heel is not typically part of the Charcot's arthropathy.

Leg swelling &amp; pain: Leg swelling and pain  concerning for a blood clot in the calf. This is more common during and soon after pregnancy.  I see you had a tubal ligation, recently? If you have not been evaluated, you should get an exam and an ultrasound (if anyone is worried you may have a blood clot). Blood clots in the leg can cause embolism to the lungs and brain. Please do not wait to get seen.

Need more info: Many things can cause this symptom.  We need better definition of symptoms to better answer question.  Like--how long have you had this , is the leg swollen, Does any activity make it worse or better, is there any discoloration, and does touching the leg cause pain.

Could be several thi: Anything from muscle pain to blood clots. In one leg the first thing i would find out about is called dvt- a blood clot in the deep veins. These can be dangerous and must be diagnosed quuickly and treated right away.
