i had an mri of my upper spine. could anyone tell me what this means: c6-c7 minimal posterior disc bulge minimally indents the anterior therapy sac.

Minimal posterior disc bulge means there is a little stretching of the disc between the cervical (neck) vertebral bodies at the c6-c7 level. 
According to your question, this bulge is at the "back" of the vertebra, and minimally indents (pushes in) the anterior thecal sac. These bulges range from minimal to severe.

Clinical correlation: The meaning stems from what your symptoms are and what your exam findings are and why you had the MRI in the first place.  If there is pain in that area, then THAT slipped disc pushing into the spinal cord could be the cause.  If the MRI was done for some other reason and there is no pain, that disc may not be meaningful.  It means there is material from the disc out of place however.

Spinal cord compression may cause pain and loss of coordination or other symptoms.
