What to do if i have an anterior and posterior spine fusion?

Spine fusion: An anterior and posterior fusion is the best option to obtain a solid fusion. Often eliminating the mechanical back pain will lead to improved range of motion in the low back and reduced radiating leg pain. Maximum wound healing is 6 weeks and a completed fusion occurs in 100 days but may take up to a year in people who smoke.

Be compliant: If you have already had surgery, you would certainly want to be compliant with your surgeons postoperative regimen, which usually encourages light activities such as walking, but the avoidance of bending, twisting, and heavy lifting for a set period if time.
