Modified atkins: a South Beach Diet is a modified atkins diet. It is mostly protein and fat and doesn't allow many carbohydrates in the beginning. Over time it allows more carbohydrates first as vegetables and then as fruits and vegetables. The take home lesson here - is stay away from processed foods, eat more fruits and vegetables- I would also limit too much fat

Do yourself a favor - if you are hungry, eat real food. If you are not hungry don't eat. If you are trying to lose weight avoid starches and sugars and eat nutrient dense foods like low starch vegetables and lean meats.

It is caused by a sympathetic system response to fear — tiny muscles pull on hairs, which literally stand up, giving you the sensation of something on your skin. It goes away when you relax or calm the anxiety.

Antiparasitic medications used to treat it include nifurtimox ; benznidazole.
