Fiber!: Increase the amount of fiber that you are taking every day. I recommend two tablespoons of metamucil with a glass of water twice a day.  This will prevent straining and allow for time to heal.

There are some other skin tags-papillomas.
But around the anus, hemorrhoidal plexus with full veins can prolapse as "hemorrhoids" internal and external.
If clotted and dangling and not full veins may be called tags.

Different: Skin tags are out side  anal canal , hemorrhoids starts as internal  hemorrhoids tracks down to out side anal canal as external hemorrhoids.

Often nothing: There is no risk from removing these skin tags other than possibility of superficial infection and pain.

NO not on their own : Once external hemorrhoids are formed  will not disappear on their own  , will get relief from treatments with proper diet  , may shrink to some extent but will not disappear  , with out surgical procedure.

External hemorrhoids: In some cases internal and external hemorrhoids are related, but not in every case. Usually need a scope or surgical exam to determine the status of internal hemorrhoids. This is actually good news for you.

i realize i have a hemorrhoid skin tags near my anal, it itches sometime and it makes me scared. will it go away on its own without surgery?

Anal skin tags: The anal skin tags will not go away without surgery but the symptoms of itching can be controlled.  Most anal itching is the result of soilage collecting around the anal tags which makes patient's feel like they aren't clean and results in excess wiping.  I typically recommend my patients to keep flushable wipes in their purse as they clean around the tags more thoroughly with less irritation.

Hemorrhoids: This is nothing to be embarrased about, of course, but you can try over the counter hemorrhoid treatments. If they do not help do not hesitate to be seen.

No real risks: Except infection which is minimal. The real problem is that in healing after surgery, skin tags can reform, they are usually smaller but your bottom will probably never look like a baby's bottom. Additionally, insurance may consider it cosmetic and therefore would not cover the surgery. I frankly discourage patient s from having the tags removed. If hygeine is due to pasty smeary stools, removing.
