Anal skin tags: The anal skin tags will not go away without surgery but the symptoms of itching can be controlled. Most anal itching is the result of soilage collecting around the anal tags which makes patient's feel like they aren't clean and results in excess wiping. I typically recommend my patients to keep flushable wipes in their purse as they clean around the tags more thoroughly with less irritation.
