Sinusitis: Often, antibiotics are unnecessary in managing sinus infection.  Treatment should be accompanied by nasal irrigation with saline (neti-pot), decongestants (pseudoephedrine or oxymetozaline nasal spray), possibly nasal steroids and pain control with nsaids. If these measures do not help, see an ENT doctor.  Good luck.

Maybe: First, continue with your oral decongestants (loratidine, claritin, or benadryl), and also try Afrin nasal spray.  If that doesn&#x27;t help, you may need to see a physician.  A short course of oral corticosteroids may help (prednisone, Medrol Dospak, etc).

ear ringing: Also called tinnitus, can have many causes such as trauma, loud noises, etc. Depending on the triggering factor, the duration of the problem varies. See an ent.

Yes, rinse 1x/day: First question is how long after surgery?  If 6 weeks or less your eustachian tubes are swollen that will increase awareness of tinnitus.  Secondly, the 6 saline rinses are irritating the mucous membranes.  Do it once, max. 2x/day.

can this rule out brain tumor.i am worried.headache persists?

Headaches, ears: There are many different types of headache MRI will not diagnose and MRI would have low yield for these symptoms. Most headaches are related not to tumors but to sinus disease or musculoskeletal problems involving  neck, jaws, and head, including teeth. The  .3 cm finding may suggest sinus probs (allergy, chronic infection, or nasal anatomic deformity). See a head/neck specialist to rule out.

if i have chronic tinnitus that happened out of nowhere will it effect my hearing test ? will i still pass it.? what are the chances of it going away ? its been 5 months after a sinus wash i think i might of irritated my middle ear?

: Odds are that your tinnitus is related to noise trauma. Unlikely sinus wash played a part. Will not affect your hearing test results, can be matched by audiologist. Whether it resolves depends on further noise exposure and other incitors Use ear plugs/headphones if anticipate loud noise exposure. Can mask the tinnitus with fans, radio. at bedtime.

lower lip tingling for 3-5 seconds on one side occasionally that happens with position changes x10 days, then developed tinnitus and ear pressure on the same side, plus sinus pain bilat that improves with meds. have an appt in 10 days with pcp?

When does it start/stop? 
Where does it go? 
What makes it better/worse? 
How long does it last?  
Medication helps/worsens?
 If you think something you eat/drink/do stop it &amp; see. If better, go back again &amp; retest until u r convinced it is something u should stop. Then stop it.

Discuss with Drs. You all will figure it out.

Needs an assesment: This sounds like fluid in the middle ear cavity, Otitis media.
Could be allergy or infection induced.
If painful and throbbing...you may need to treat it.
