Needs an assesment: This sounds like fluid in the middle ear cavity, Otitis media. Could be allergy or infection induced. If painful and throbbing...you may need to treat it.

Treated?: Have your tried antihistamine /decongestant and./or OTC nasal steroid spray yet? If not , these may be helpful.. See doctor for Rx if not improved.
