If i have chronic tinnitus that happened out of nowhere will it effect my hearing test ? will i still pass it.? what are the chances of it going away ? its been 5 months after a sinus wash i think i might of irritated my middle ear?

Odds are that your tinnitus is related to noise trauma. Unlikely sinus wash played a part. Will not affect your hearing test results, can be matched by audiologist. Whether it resolves depends on further noise exposure and other incitors Use ear plugs/headphones if anticipate loud noise exposure. Can mask the tinnitus with fans, radio. at bedtime.
