Sinus: If MRI showed a sinus infection you should get it treated.  Also have your doctor check for mold or fungus.  Many of these chronic sinus infections are caused by these type of infections,

Depends: You might have sinusitis. If an isolated ethmoid sinus or frontal-sinus or sphenoid sinus becomes obstructed or infected it can cause pain even with no other sx. Clues are one sided pain, worse when you lean head down low, pain that responds to antibiotics. Other mechanical problems can cause this. Go see a Doctor.

It depends...: ...on the cause. Saline nasal spray often is helpful. If it's an allergic problem, a nasal corticosteroid spray (e.g. fluticasone) often works. If bacterial infection, an oral antibiotic might be necessary. If uncertain about any of this, see a doctor for diagnosis and advice. Don't get in the habit of continued use of decongestant sprays, which always stop working or worsen symptoms.

It might take few 2 or more weeks to clear  up
Dripping of the secretions to the chest might happen and this irritate the throat and causes coughing
You need rest, anti histamine and hot fluids
Lying with head in more sitting position might help reducing the congestion
See your doctor if the condition persists for longer time

Ear effusion?: Sounds like (no pun intended) that you have either developed a fluid collection behind your ear drum (middle ear effusion) or your eustachian tube on that side has become blocked.  Best to see medical provider for evaluation.
