Ive had yellow mucus and congestion for a week, and then my congestion went away and still have minor sinus pain weeks later with clear mucus. should i take antibiotics? i am concerned it could turn into meningitis?

It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. However, what you described is not consistent with bacterial infection. If you get fever, it would be prudent to see a doctor. Wish you good health!

Long and persisting sinus or upper respiratory infections can be caused by any infectious agent:- bacteria, virus, yeast/fungus... It is best to see PCP who can examine, take samples and do lab and imaging if indicated to get proper diagnosis and appropriate treatment. The sooner, the better.
