Not needed: No.  There is ZERO reason for a teenager to take vitamins. In fact many of us are coming to understand that most vitamins offer NO health benefit to anyone unless they have a documented specific deficiency.

Vitamins: Taking your vitamins daily is good start. Don't forget to follow with a good balance diet each day  to include leafy green vegetables, fresh fruit, lean protein source and daily yogurt. Get plenty of sleep and exercise daily - your body will thank you by staying health. Wish you well.

Multivitamins: Multivitamins should be taken daily unless there is some specific reason to limit to every other day,  make sure your  multi does not have iron as it depletes anti-oxidants. Best wishes.

Why?: Two multivitamins will do the same as one:  mostly nothing. Multivitamins are usually safe and not effective.  If you have a lab proven vitamin deficiency, then take that vitamin. Otherwise, save  your money and buy a gym membership.  Exercise has proven health benefits.  Multivitamins usually benefit the seller.

For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.

: Unless you possess a specific vitamin deficiency, do not see a compelling need to spend money on Multivitamins, which typically do not get absorbed and mostly are excreted in bowel movements unchanged.  I very much am a fan of Omega 3s but would prefer dietary intake, such as salmon.

i took a every woman's one a day whole food multivitamin (fermented for absorption) in the morning. can i take a chelated magnesium (250 mg) supplement now (it is currently 11:10 pm)?

: Certainly.  These are reasonable doses of vitamins and should not cause a problem assuming the rest of  you is well!  However, it begs the question:  what do you expect the magnesium to help your body with?

Sure: Just don't overdo it.  Excessive amount of vitamin a. D, and b6 are harmful.

when i have a migraine it takes a week from start to finish to feel "normal", i feel on edge every day.i still feel drained why? when it's raining & cloudy or thundery why does my head feel squashed? been takin multivitamin drink to boost energy
