This maybe a sign of: Allergic reaction to salmon. Be careful not to eat salmon next time because it can lead to angioedema - swelling of your throat and airways that can choke you. Mentiin this to your dr so he can prescribe epipen (epinephrine). Take care!

Depends: Commercial fisheries are required to freeze fish for 15 hrs at -35F to kill parasites while common freezers would require 7 days at -4F to do the same. Farm raised salmon are fed pelleted food &amp; seldom acquire parasites. So the answer really depends on the source.  It is more likely for wild caught than commercial, but even then it is not common.

See you physician: Discharges can be either normal or abnormal. Usually when a discharge is thicker and has a "fishy" odor it needs to be evaluated.

: Ask specifically what it is in fish that they want you to get away from and then see if there is an FDA approved pill to more of that.  I would ask about the evidence that they have that eating fish vs other things helps. With your problem. You can also search pubmed.gov to see what you can find.

: More details would be helpful. If you have respiratory symptoms due to irritants, you may have bronchospasm. There are inhalers to treat asthma and bronchospasm. Avoid irritants, smoke and pollution.
