Non-op & surgery: If the scaphoid fracture is only minimally displaced, it has a good chance to heal in a cast. The cast needs to go out over the thumb. Sometimes it needs to go up over the elbow too. If your doctor thinks that it won't heal in a cast, a screw can be put across it in the hope of making it heal better and/or faster.

: The presence of a screw and graft will definitely complicate the picture depending on the degree of involvement in the fracture. Your best resource will be the hand surgeon who reconstructed it first if still in practice and available.

can i smoke pure weed or vape weed with a non-displaced scaphoid fracture in my  wrist. cigarettes is forbidden for the nicotine in it but i think weed has medical benefits for bone healing? but can i vape or smoke it ?

Negative effect: While eating Cannabis instead of smoking it reduces the risks associated with taking a toxin into your lungs amid smoke, it does not remove the effects of cannabinoids on blood vessels. Cannabinoids are known to cause hardening/blockage of small blood vessels which can increase stroke risk in any organ system. Decreased blood flow to extremities can dramatically slow the healing of fractures.

Tenderness: First of all, is the tenderness you are experiencing less than when you first had the fracture or worse?  If worse, you should follow up with the doctor who saw you in the beginning for a redo x-ray as soon as possible.  Does your fingertips have sensation to them or are they painful?  If the latter, definitely see that doctor ASAP for compartment syndrome.

Typically "small cut" (whatever that means may be different for different cases, and going home typically depends upon how you feel, genral health, length of surgery etc....Talk to your doctor 
pick up the phone and call the office of where your surgery is being done.

Xray to start: Scaphoid fractures can be tough to diagnose. The first study to get is an xray. If you can't see it on that x-ray and the doctor remains concerned, often a repeat x-ray 1-2 weeks later shows it. Other options include a bone scan, ct scan, or mri.
