Not possible ...: If the whole ovary is removed, there should be no recurrence on the same side, but not preclude a similar occurrence on the opposite. Post-surgical pain at incision may linger for a highly variable duration, and occasionally, such pain may stay... For detail, ask surgeon timely.

Pregnant?: Yes it is possible you are pregnant and therefore you should have a blood test. If you are pregnant and actually miscarrying this is very important information to get while you are trying to conceive. I hope you are not miscarrying.

Not the same: Ovarian torsion caused by twisting on blood vessels & usually fallopian tube cutting off blood supply to ovary. Partial cause could be ovarian cyst. Can be diagnosed by ultrasound & corrected laparoscopically. Ovarian rupture is ruptured corpus luteum cyst, also very painful.Possible internal hemorrhage. Temporize if minor not if severe. Both t&r conditons present with abdominal pain & vomiting.

I think you should: Ask these questions of your treating doctor.  You might have another cause of pain, such as endometriosis.  Torsion can happen at any time, but usually with larger cysts.  Second opinions could be useful if your present doctor will not give you answers to your questions.  But please remember that doctors are not fortune tellers and cannot predict what will happen in the future, just probability.

Inflammation...: A dermoid can form any kind of tissue in the body:  teeth, hair, skin, thyroid tissue, etc.   It can be painful because it is stretching the ovarian capsule or because it is causing inflammation in the ovary or other surrounding tissue.  Best wishes!

i've had 2 ovarian torsions due to cysts forming, ive taken birth control for that. when i exercise (doing cardio) i start bleeding (spots), what/why?

Conservative surgery: For your young age pts, you should be treated conservatively with now not to remove your overy unless pathology indicated, but to carefully unreleased torsion and stabilize your ovaries to prevent its reoccurrence by larparoscopically and on BCP if fertility is not in consideration. and you need to be regulated your periods by hormone  or BCP therapy. Good luck
