Doesn't sound bad: If you have an active, playful quickly moving child, this sounds pretty typical. If she loses her balance walking or doesn't seem to see well or experiences pain or stiffness, she should be evaluated.

5 yo out toeing. ortho said he will outgrow but he falls a lot when running. is out toeing the reason or should i worry about duchennes? still w sits.

It's normal!: Kids have a normal and natural twist on their femurs (upper leg bone) from the day they are born. This twist in the hip socket doesn't get to adult degrees until about age 10.  So ortho is absolutely correct your child will outgrow this. Because of the twist, they then turn legs when they run, and this can trip them up. This is normal as well, and W sit will not affect one way or other....

my 2yo sweats excessively (head/back) after running around & when he falls asleep. his head is literally soaked. any cause for concern?

Mgt: I would suggest a pulse oximetry, Blood Pressure measurement and cardiac evaluation by your PCP. Sometimes these symptoms are related to cardiac causes.  A virtual appointment is also available.

when i wear running sneakers or high vamped shoes my feet fall asleep. my shoes are not too tight but my entire foot falls asleep. what causes this.

See your doc: Check with your family doctor so he or she can check your peripheral circulation , if necessary check dopper examination and pin point the cause vascular vs neurologic  then treat you.

i have a headache, stomach cramps, running tummy, cold chills and randomly high temp of up to 38.3 temperature climbs and falls periodically. my bodey also aches a bit.

Eval:  Contact your PCM for assessment. Rest, hydration, acetaminophen, decongestant, cough med &amp; nasal saline irrigation may help mild symptoms. Make sure to quarantine. COVID 19 sx’s: dry cough, shortness of breath, chest tightness, nasal congestion, fever, headache, sore throat, feeling tired, loss of sense of taste/smell, decreased appetite, nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, chills &amp; muscle aches.

: It is a puzzle. Personally, at age 70 I have found that what I think is initially low blood sugar at the start of exercise can result in those symptoms, which also seem to resolve as the body adjusts to exercise. I drink 8 ounces of something with sugar (iced tea) just before i start running, and  I carry hard candy to take at the start of those symptoms.  These seem to prevent them. Good luck!

Further exam: Falling and running into doors can cause further damage. Why? Is it your vision? Other symptoms. Your doctor needs to see you as a stroke can cause these too. Being clumsy is a waste basket diagnosis, that is, only after all proper diagnostic procedures are done. You are also on meds needing monitoring and can affect your nervous functions so have a good exam. Good luck.

it's been hard to fall asleep at night for a month now. i'm running on about 3 1/2 hrs of sleep and still don't fell very tired. what's happening?

Insomnia has many: Causes: stress, heavy meal before bedtime, anxiety, strenuous exercise before bedtime, too much caffeine/nicotine/other stimulants, swing-shift disorder, noisy environment, bright lights, etc. Addressing these factors may help. Fp can help sort out cause(s) & offer options for treatment.

she told me that for the past week she has been running her fingers through her hair and a bundle of hair would fall out. (she's only 15 and she's very worried)?

See answer: Loss of hair can have many causes. You must consider abnormal thyroid also stress poor nutrition and any insult to the fair like continuous bleaching. She will need to hav lab studies done to complete the evaluation to determine the cause and then treat

Hair loss: It would be unlikely that running you hands through your hair would cause hair lose. Since all hairs on your head go through a growth phase and a shedding phase it more likely that the hairs you find between your fingers is normal shedding
