It's normal!: Kids have a normal and natural twist on their femurs (upper leg bone) from the day they are born. This twist in the hip socket doesn't get to adult degrees until about age 10. So ortho is absolutely correct your child will outgrow this. Because of the twist, they then turn legs when they run, and this can trip them up. This is normal as well, and W sit will not affect one way or other....
