That's not much info: You need a proper history including, not just what hurts, but for how long, what makes it better or worse, what i(f anything) brought it on, whether it's direct or referred pain etc.  Physical exam is vitally important too.  The sensation of warm water running down your thigh is a paresthesia, a sense of something that isn't really happening.  It may be a hint of what is.  Please see a doctor!

Lets review your que: Where were you told the location you have a "cyst". In the vaginal wall, a Bartholin's cyst can form, it is usually painful but will resolve with warm compresses and compression of its material. A cyst of the leg can bust at anytime and possible could feel like water flowing down your thigh

Not Sciatica: The sciatic nerve runs down the back of the leg.  The sensation your are describing could be due to a disk problem in the upper part of the lumbar spine, a hernia causing a nerve in the area to be irritated it a hip joint problem.  This may require physical therapy to prevent worsening.  You should discuss this with your doctor.

Maybe nerve related: Things like this can be from a pinched or irritated nerve, in some cases.  Things like shingles can start with similar things.  Seeing a doctor and letting them test the nerves in the area might be a good thing for this.

Exam/testing: YOU- do not treat yourself, rather get seen, examined and tested by your physician. You are describing a type of neuropathy which may be due to many causes. You can try using ibuprofen ( Advil) OR naproxen sodium ( Aleve) , if not allergic to these medicines; however, your symptoms require further evaluation.

: From your description, I believe that it was a transient sensory irritability of the femoral nerve or.a branch. I don't think it has any significance. If it occurs repeatedly, consult a neurologist for evaluation and advice.
