Yes: If you are having reflux symptoms, hiatal hernia is a common finding. It can sometimes be detected on an UGI or can be seen if an EGD/upper endoscopy is deemed necessary. How do you tell them - just tell them your concerns, your symptoms, and that you think you have a hiatal hernia and would like to be checked for that. Very simple. Just be honest.

HIDA Scan: The best starting test for the gallbladder. After that, a HIDA scan with ejection fraction is the test to get done especially if you are just having pain and the LFTs do not become elevated. LFTs will rise if you have gallstones that travel into the bile duct.

ER/doc ASAP: Please see your primary care physician for evaluation and a referral to a gastroenterologist ASAP. If you are not urinating and not drinking anything, to ER for pain and nausea control, IV fluids for dehydration at least.

Cannot diagnose: Need full history, physical exam and results of evaluation that has already been started.  Do not know what type of doctor you have been seeing, but a good pcp is the best place to start.  Hope this gets better soon.

Bad gallbladder: Fever, vomiting, pain in upper belly, usually right sided, bloating, belching, worse after eating fatty (or other) foods, getting worse over time, several weeks to months, and family history are all symptoms of a bad gallbladder. Hydrate, avoid fatty foods while waiting for your doc visit, diagnostic testing. If the US is negative, a TECH HIDA scan can make the diagnosis. Be well

Gallbladder?: If the pain is in the right upper area of your abdomen this may be gallbladder issue. Alternatively it could be stomach ulcer. I recommend an exam and bloodwork to start with.

No: Drinking alcohol can damage the liver but not the gallbladder. Moderation is the key to alcohol consumption. Be careful, because long term heavy drinking can cause irreversible and progressive liver damage leading to cirrhosis, liver failure, and death. Hope this helps!
