Surely: Surely you know we can't answer your question without an examination.  What you describe as a fatty lump may be something else entirely.  Please see your GP for a definitive answer.

i injured my side leaning over a shelf-heard a crunch-no broken ribs but a lipoma. does this have side effects-my arms have been achy since.?

Possibly..: Pseudolipomas are lipomas that can occur after a traumatic injury such as the one you describe. Arm pain may or may not be related to your injury. Please see your physician to delve into this further.

Likely: Differential would include sebaceous cyst if a small opening- puncta exists.
Fibroma, neurofibroma, and other local tumors can mimic.

Here are some ...: Most of palpable lipoma would not cause "rib pain and tenderness" since it is superficial and outside the rib. For very unusual condition, a lipoma may compress a nerve but impalpable due to its hidden location, yet it is incidentally suspected by a MRI for evaluating possible radiculopathy (pain from spinal nerve compression). But, age 19 is more in your favor. Nonetheless, see and work with Doc.

over 50 rubbery to hard, slight painful lumps in tricep, gracilis under rib and lumbar area. lipoma? 50lbs overweight, not visible, some are deep.

Lipoma or lymph node: With out a hands on exam this would B my best guess, or could B a combination of both.

i have been told i have a lipoma on my back rib at the time was soft since then has gotten bigger, painful and hard is this due to being on top of rib?

Sebaceous cyst?: Could be a sebaceous cyst.

Seek out a dermatologist in your area.  These can be removed in the office with just local anesthetic (numbing medicine).

If in pain...: Lipomas do not hurt unless they are in position to be irritated, or transmit pressure to a sensitive area, such as rib. If you are symptomatic, then you have one option.  Surgical resection of this benign fatty tumor!

moveable lipoma 1cm, over left side of the last rib down, no pain, swollen, or reddish, only when i touch i feel discomfort, any worries about it ?

Lipoma: If truly a lipoma (fatty tissue tumor), they are benign and should cause no harm.  If the lipoma grows and starts to become irritating or painful etc. Than see a dr. And discuss getting it surgically excised.  Best wishes.

Lipoma : You may have other lipomas. See a doctor and get a definitive diagnosis

does a lipoma cause fluid around the affected area. its under the left brest on ribs. it can be moved around but it feels like fluid all around it, or it just may be swollen?

: It should not. A lipoma itself can give that feeling. Best is to get checked by yourdoc/ surgeon for accurate finding.
