What's your question: What you described sounds correct.  A granuloma is a tissue reaction possibly to the mesh (foreign body) or because you have had immunosuppression from the chemo.  He will send the granuloma for analysis when he removes it and make sure there is no abscess or other mass it is reacting with.  He may also remove the mesh.

what might have caused hematoma, unusual bruises after diastasis repair, tummy tuck? bruising is vertical, lateral to navel, perhaps along area of rectus plication(?). i had a mild cough that caused excruciating pain for two or so days post-surgery?

: A cough can increase the intrabdominal pressure , also a strain on the operative site causing / bleeding/ oozing. Best to let the surgeon know and see. Hope you feel better

what is the best way to stretch my rectus femoris?

Heel to buttocks: A slow static stretch is best and achieved by holding on to a stable object with one hand. The other hand grasps the ankle of the same side of the rectus to be stretched. By gently bending your knee and bringing the heel of your foot up towards the same side of your buttocks, hold that position for a count of 10, release to straighten the knee and repeat 3-5 times.

Pain and Pulsation: You must get your self examined immediately, especially if you have worked out too hard and there may be a tear in the muscle causing pain and making it easy to feel inside pulsations.

i have a bulge to the right of my rectus abdominis, which recently appeared. its not visible but can be felt as i'm lean. its very mild pain/annoyance?

Bulge: I would get this evaluated. The first thing that comes to mind is that you might have a hernia which is a weakening along that abdominal wall. Sometimes these can get extremely painful and can be a surgical emergency. ( in which case go to the er). To avoid that, i would see your doctor and they might have you see a doctor in the office.

Limit Activity: Diastasis rectii is a condition where the "6-pack" muscles of the abdominal wall no longer are attached to one another in the midline, leading to them bowing out when contracting them (it looks like a tent when you raise your head up when laying down). This is common after childbirth or with significant weight gain. This rarely causes pain, though; you may want to seek a second opinion.

diastasis rectus from pregnancy (10 months p.partum) is it worth spending time on planking and other core exercises?  will they help with core at all?

Exercise may help: Abdominal and core exercises may help to strenghten the abdominal muscles and as a result may improve diastasis recti. This is not an hernia as there is no defect in the rectus fascia, hence there is no risk of bowel herniation or strangulation. If it persists despite exercises and interferes with your daily activities then you may consider surgical plication of the rectus muscles to each other.

Anterior hip pain: The rectus femoris is a muscle that overloes the front of the hip joint. It functions to help straigten the knee and flex the hip( lift the leg while sitting or lyong) if it is strained time, rest and anti-inflamitories help. Other causes of pain in the anterior hip are arthritis, a labral tear, a hernia, or other hip joint problems. If the problem lasts more than 6 weeks you should get an xray.
