Cyst: The pea-sized bump is probably a hair follicle cyst called an epidermal or pilar cyst. The redness or heat rash worries me in that the cyst ruptured and the skin around it is now getting infected. You may need to see a dermatologsit and have the cyst removed and then take a 10 day course of oral antibiotics

Try: I would try selsun blue or selenium sulfide head and shoulders. Provided no new exposures or new products you could have seborrhea of the scalp. An exam in 1 week would be recommended by your doctor

Bang, Zoom!!: Nope. Sounds OK to me......so far. But if the headache worsens and/or you get nauseous, vomit, or your vision gets blurry--well, you know, anything worrisome, then get checked-out. But a mild to moderate headache and local tenderness is to be expected. And some mild headache or a little light-headedness or queasy feeling might hang on for a few days.

It is more often related to alopecia, head trauma, autoimmune problems (lupus), circulatory problems or endocrine problems (thyroid). Some medications can also lead to unilateral hair loss such as hormones, antidepressants and antihypertensive meds. Talk to a Dr for a full exam and evaluation.

Options for advancing the hairline and creating a lower hairline are the use of a "pretrichal" forehead lift in which a broken and irregular excision of forehead skin is placed just in front of the hair and creates the illusion of a shortened forehead.

In-grown Hair: This sounds like a potential in-grown hair. They act like painful "pimples" along the hairline as they get caught underneath the skin surface. Examining it under magnification, a dermatologist or hair surgeon can "unroof" the hair and allow it to grow back out like normal.
